On Saturday, July 20th, we are offering an Indian dance workshop with Surapsari at noon. The workshop, which will introduce you to some principles of Indian classical dance, will be 2 hours long, and will be followed by lunch by the pool. Take the class, have lunch, and, if you like, stay for a swim. Or, for an additional fee, a massage can be arranged. The cost for this event is 300 pesos.
The birthday of the Buddha is usually celebrated during the May full moon, which this year is Sat., May 25th.
Join us at the pool for a quiet day in the country with a vegetarian buffet…and, if you like, stay for a guided meditation as the sun goes down.

When we last went to India, we ordered some wonderful shikar tents. These are the tents used by rajahs went they went out to hunt. Each tent has a bedroom and a separate room for a full bath, and each is hand block-printed on the interior. These tents are used in the Himalayas, and also on the beach and desert. If you are interested in perhaps purchasing one, please let us know.
